Indonesian vanilla is darker and more smoky than the Madagascar vanilla most baking recipes assume. Milled from the whole bean, so you get the seeds and the pod, which is why it flecks whatever you stir it into.
How to use it: whisk into cake batter, custard and ice cream base. Stir into coffee. Use half a teaspoon where a recipe asks for one teaspoon of extract, then adjust.
